On the evening of Monday, September 4, Sodabeh Nowzari, a 32-year-old woman, was tragically strangled by her husband, Abbas Sajjadi, in their residence in Kamaleshahr, near Karaj. Honor has been cited as the motive behind this heinous act. Sodabeh leaves behind two children, aged 15 and 8.
Following the murder, Abbas Sajjadi surrendered himself to the authorities on the subsequent day and disclosed the whereabouts of the body within their home.
